Marie B. Travesky

Marie Travesky possesses over twenty-five years of
transportation, government affairs, and community relations
experience in both the public and private sectors. Her
government experience spans local, state, and federal levels
and includes a thorough knowledge of land use, environmental,
and zoning regulations. As President of Travesky and
Associates, Ms. Travesky is responsible for public
involvement, community relations, and government affairs
programs for federally funded projects. She managed the public
involvement effort on the first Major Investment Study in the
region and recently served as Deputy Project Manager for
Public Involvement in the Dulles Corridor Rapid Transit
Project.
Ms. Travesky is a past member of the Fairfax County Board
of Supervisors and the Fairfax County School Board, and she
has chaired the Northern Virginia Transportation Commission,
the Virginia Association of Public Transit Officials, and the
Transportation Planning Board of the Metropolitan Washington
Council of Governments. Ms. Travesky has also served as
Director of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit
Authority.

Denise H. Nugent Vice

With more than eighteen years of management
experience, Denise Nugent develops, organizes, and directs the
operations of the firms associates. As Vice President, Ms.
Nugent is responsible for contract negotiation, program
planning and evaluation, and corporate financial affairs. Ms.
Nugent develops public outreach programs and participates in
public and stakeholder coordination and communications
activities in support of transportation/environmental studies
and other planning and development activities. She provides
task leadership to projects including overall scheduling,
assignment of resources, budget review and adherence, quality
control, and coordination of staff activities and vendors. Ms.
Nugent resolves operating problems related to the
accomplishment of program objectives.
Working closely with consultant engineering firms and state
transportation agencies, Ms. Nugent prepares the project
scope, crafting the methodology necessary to successfully
implement public participation programs. As Deputy Project
Manager, she plans and evaluates project activities and
directs the professional team. She organizes, advertises,
records, and provides follow-up from public meetings, and
represents the project team at community events. She
facilitates workshop discussions for transportation planning
projects, manages the preparation of informational materials,
Internet web sites, study documents, final reports, and
project information centers. Ms. Nugent possesses a thorough
knowledge of, and sound experience in, public involvement
principles, practices, and standards.

Jamie C. Breme Senior

Jamie Breme brings developed organizational skills
to the firm in project schedule maintenance, public meeting
support and preparation, project report creation, and
marketing relations. Ms. Breme maintains the latest
information on the various transportation projects in the
region to facilitate event planning activities. She is
responsible for personnel training within the firm and
coordinating the staff and public outreach efforts for events
and workshops. She works closely with agencies and the general
public to solicit their input.
